“I joined Lisnabrin after re-training in Computer Aided Engineering, building on my background in Fabrication. Being my first role in the Industry I found it very interesting from the outset, starting on 3 Axis Mills, where I gained some very valuable experience.

When the company invested in their first 5 Axis Mill, I was given the opportunity to train on this machine. I was later appointed Cell Leader for the first Production/High Volume cell, helping me to learn about managing people, machines, jobs, tooling and overall workflow.

As the company acquired its first Citizen Sliding Head Lathe, I was given the opportunity to oversee the operation of this machine. With Turning being a new direction for the company, it presented a new challenge, but it allowed me to gain some more great experience and a varied skill set. Every day brings a fresh new challenge to overcome.”
